Kids of Courage is proud to announce yet another adventure with North America’s most exhilarating traveling camp for children and young adults with serious medical diagnoses.
Lead by our wonderful Dream Team, this week long getaway will bring together over 150 campers from all over the continent to one of America’s most popular vacation cities . There they'll be treated to the adventure of a lifetime by a dedicated and experienced staff of counselors, logistics staff, physicians, nurses, paramedics, physical therapist and others. Counselor to camper ratio is 1:1 or 2:1 depending on medical needs of the camper.
These heroic children battle for their lives, sometimes for every breath. They inspire others with their strength, tenacity and dazzling will to live. We are giving them the opportunity to live and have fun like other children and experience life in the best way imaginable. We help them forget the tubes and pumps and needles and the daily challenges and experience the thrills of carefree childhood happiness. Many of them cannot go on trips without specialized medical support.
Our state-of-the-art mobile hospital and experienced medical staff is there to answer the medical needs of every camper while away from home, even for campers with the most complicated conditions. The medical staff has many years of experience in a camp setting, like the superb logistical team, while counselors undergo rigorous medical training before being assigned to a camper.
